As a Warehouse Associate, your efforts will connect educators and librarians with the products they need to do the amazing work they do. You’ll help ensure customers have confidence that our same-day shipping goal will bring them unique supplies, furniture, and equipment they can rely on every day. You’ll enjoy a 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. M–F schedule with overtime opportunities. And you’ll work at our Value Center, with easy access to U.S. 51 and I-94/90/39. 

  What you’ll do

• Safely, efficiently, and accurately pick customer orders for shipment
• Prepare orders to ship and load packages into a trailer
• Operate a manual meter to guarantee that orders ship per regulations
• Ensure that picked orders are free of damage according to quality guidelines
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Assist other Value Center and manufacturing areas as volume dictates
• Join in continuous improvement efforts to create better work processes for all

• Show a strong work ethic and solid work history?
• Pay strict attention to details and accuracy?
• Follow directions while emphasizing safety?
• Read, speak, and write legibly in English?
• Count accurately and do simple math?
• Stand and walk for extended periods?
• Twist, stoop, squat, reach, and crouch regularly?
• Use proper techniques to lift up to 70 pounds?
• Work overtime when needed?
