As we continue to grow as an organization, so does our need for a creative means to speak to our customers.  We are currently expanding our Marketing team to include a Strategic Merchandising Manager who can help create experiences within the minds of our customers.

As our Strategic Merchandising Manager you will:

• Play a strategic role in developing and shaping Demco’s merchandising strategies by collaborating with product managers and marketing to create category-specific engagements, landing pages, product recommendations, and solution-oriented experiences
• Leverage your expertise in product placement to enhance customer engagement and drive revenue
• Curate and manage presentation of products across all channels (digital and print)
• Utilize analytics and sales data to monitor product performance
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emergency technologies to propose innovative ideas for enhancing the customer shopping experience

To be qualified, you will have:

• A bachelor's in marketing, business, or related field
• At least 5 years of strategic, professional experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or merchandising
• Familiarity with SEO principles and their application in enhancing online visibility
• Creative mindset with an eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for digital merchandising, a positive attitude, be highly collaborative, adaptable, show a willingness to take initiative, and have a strong interest and passion in serving the library and school communities.
